Dr. Mossaraf Hossain is a veteran mental health professional practising at Park Circus, Kolkata. Having joined the West Bengal Health Service in 1983, Dr. Hossain in his career has been promoting care for positive mental health to enhance everyday wellbeing and increase resilience and facilitate recovery from mental health difficulties.

Dr. Hossain completed his MBBS from National Medical College & Hospital, Kolkata in 1979. He further sought training in the field of Psychiatry thereby finalizing DPM (Psychiatry) in 1982.

During his career span, Dr. Hossain has served at Lumbini Park Mental Hospital and Calcutta Pavlov Hospital, Kolkata. He retired from services from Calcutta Pavlov Hospital as Senior Psychiatrist but soon joined back to continue serving an extended term at the aforementioned institute.

Presently, Dr. Hossain’s centres of practice include Islamia Medical Institute and Park Circus Doctor Clinic where his broad medical experience in the field of mental health can be availed of in the morning and evening hours respectively.
